I got mine at Strawberries I think for around 40 buck... a friend of mine worked there and got it at a 15% discount for me... in 1999.

Where would you like me to pin your medal? Smarty pants.

And I see below that Disc 3 is the best? If best means worst of the five...

You have ants in your pants too.

Wow! What a ripoff! $30 a disc for a mediocre compilation? I always thought So Many Roads was one of the most disappointing official releases.

Disc 3 is awesome... the rest is mediocre at best.

Surely CD2 also? That's It For The Other One (1969-02-27) is just amazing, with some great banter adding to the fun. Being part of the Fillmore Box Set means it's hard to find, as well.

We're spoilt for choice now; in those days this sort of release was a rare treat.

Not worth $150; you can get the flacs at livedownloads for $52.49:

I like disc 3 too(no 77 though). So this retailed for maybe $70, what a ripoff at $150.

Steal Your Face is one of the few official releases I don't have, other than the majorty of the Road Trips. Heard it wasn't worth it, so I've yet to check it out.

Don't. Better known as Steal Your Money.

I like So Many Roads, Can't say I listen to that much though. Compilations are a tough thing in the grateful dead world with so much availible. It needed a standout Pigpen song and something from 77(How do you skip 77), oh snap theres no 70, and only one 4min. jam from 71(best year ever), and ... all right it sucks but I do like disc 2.
About the $150 price, this couldn't have retailed for more than $100. It's pretty sad that Rhino is pimpin' these out like collector items because it has a cloth cover. Maybe they will find a bunch of E72 trunks lying around four years from now.
